Gossen & Schaller bring a wealth of experience in helping clients develop estate plans customized for their individual needs and with assisting clients with the probate process or trust management following the death of a loved one. As a Wealth Counsel Member Firm we are uniquely qualified to provide our clients with the cutting edge in end of life planning.

Alee has a wide variety of experience and is available to help clients with simple to complex estates, including special needs trusts and complicated tax planning. We provide all of these services and  more in the Estate Planning area and can help you tailor a plan to fit your unique needs and  maximize cost efficiency.

  • Estate Planning - With proper planning, we can help your heirs and descendants avoid the time and expense of probate by creating trusts or other entities to hold your assets.

  • Trust Administration - If your loved ones named you as a Successor Trustee, we are here to help you understand your role and obligations as a fiduciary. We can be retained to advise and counsel clients in their rules as Trustees. We are also available to revise or amend your existing revocable trust documents, and we can help with Affidavits of Successor Trustee and other matters.

  • Probate - Many of our clients have their first experience with “probate” when they try and sell property that was owned by a deceased parent. Our attorneys have significant experience with probating estates in Oklahoma and here to help make the process as painless and efficient as possible.

  • Powers of Attorney - POAs are a valuable tool in the estate planning kit, but Oklahoma law recognizes more than one type of POA and your attorneys need to understand which one is the best fit for your situation.

  • Guardianship - If an individual loses capacity or competency and has not executed adequate planning documents, Oklahoma law may require a Guardianship of the person and their estate before you can convey or sell that person’s property. The Oklahoma statutes on the sell of real estate by a Guardian are complicated and must be followed exactly to convey marketable title. Contact us for more info!
